Week of 23rd - 27th - 1a. Appease-(verb)-to bring to a state of peace, quiet, ease, calm, or contentment;pacify 1b. I tried to appease my mom when she came home with the house being clean, but my brother's came home from school and made a mess again.
2a. reciprocal - (adjective) done or returned 2b. I was finally reciprocal with my homework, but I looked again and I found some more math homework.
3a. tedious - (adjective) to long to slow... repetitive 3b. The lady in front of me was very tedious, but she was old so I waited quietly behind her.
4a.waver- (verb ) to choose something 4b. I had to waver what I wanted to get Shelby for her birthday, but I couldn't decide what to get.
5a. adversity - noun- difficulties; misfortune. 5b. My mother and I had an Adversity at the store, because she didn't have the money to take me and Rebecca to the movies.
week of 30th - 3rd- 6a. Resolution- a firm decision 6b. My mother and I had a resolution, because my sister is getting half of my room.
7a. Conventional - based on or in accordance with what is generally done or believed. 7b. My sister and I conventional moved my room, but she tried to take the bigger half of the room but my mom told her no.
8a. Mediate- intervene between people in a dispute in order to bring about an agreement or reconciliation. 8b. My mother and I came to a mediate that she would take me and Rebecca to the movies, but I have to do dishes for a week.
9a. Ensue- verb- happen or occur afterward or as a result. 9b. After me and Rebecca came home from the movies we saw Shelby at starbucks, but she didn't see us.
